A Voice for Balanced Growth and Community Service
I have worked as an Information Technology professional, solving complex problems and building systems that connect people and data. For the last 8 years, I have called East Ferris home, having previously lived in North Bay, Hearst, and Kiosk. This diverse background has given me a deep appreciation for the unique rural character of our municipality and the critical need for modern infrastructure, particularly high-speed internet.
I have served as an advisor to the Municipality as a strong advocate for better Internet services for all residents. I also served as a member of the East Ferris Economic Development Committee. Now, I am running for Council to turn that advocacy into action.

My campaign is focused on listening, serving, and working with residents to support the needs of our community.
I Promise to Listen:
As one member of Council, I know meaningful change takes collaboration. I will listen carefully to the concerns, ideas, and priorities residents share with me and work to ensure they are brought forward for thoughtful discussion and action.
I Promise Transparency:
My email will remain open to all residents. I will use the feedback and information I receive to help inform Council discussions and support decisions that reflect the priorities of the community.
I Promise Partnership:
As our Strategic Plan recognizes, a municipality is strongest when officials and residents work together. I will seek constructive partnerships with other levels of government while encouraging local leadership on important priorities for East Ferris.
Key Platform Priorities
Aligned with the 2023-2026 Strategic Plan priorities of a “Livable & Vibrant Community” and “Protecting Our Environment,” my focus will be on supporting practical, responsible decisions that reflect the needs of East Ferris residents.
• Balanced & Sustainable Growth:
I will support a balanced approach to growth that respects our rural character while creating room for local jobs and opportunity. Growth should be guided by sound information, environmental responsibility, and long-term benefit to the community.
• True Fiscal Responsibility:
I will work to support clearer conversations about the difference between tax rates and the overall cost to residents. A stronger commercial and industrial tax base can help ease pressure on homeowners while protecting the essential services our community relies on.
• Community Safety & Well-Being:
I will support a timely review of the Community Safety and Well-Being Plan, with attention to policing concerns such as speed enforcement, so our roads remain safe and welcoming for families, cyclists, and all residents.
• Housing & Care for All:
As our population ages, I will support more housing options that allow residents to remain in East Ferris through different stages of life. I will also seek clearer information on childcare contributions and continued support for a strong Medical Centre as the community plans for future physician retirements.
• Infrastructure & Connectivity:
I will support continued efforts to secure provincial and federal funding while encouraging practical local leadership and inter-municipal collaboration on critical projects such as broadband and other essential services.
